FAQs

We design every piece with care and intention. Explore answers to common questions about our bespoke process, timelines, materials, and how we work with you from first idea to finished piece.

Absolutely. The models you see online are inspiration — not limitations. We are a true bespoke furniture shop, which means every project starts with your vision. Whether you want a reinterpretation of a classic or something entirely new, we’ll design and build a piece that’s uniquely yours.

Most bespoke pieces take 6–10 weeks from consultation to delivery, depending on complexity, material availability, and seasonal demand. We’ll provide a projected timeline during your consultation so you know exactly what to expect.

Investment varies depending on size, materials, and detailing. As a guideline:
– Chairs & Ottomans → from $2,000–$4,000
– Sofas & Sectionals → from $5,000–$15,000
– Headboards & Banquettes → from $1,500–$8,000
We’ll provide a tailored estimate once we review your design vision and specifications.

Not exclusively. Our standard is Baltic birch plywood, prized for its precision and dimensional stability. Solid kiln-dried hardwood is available by request. For support systems, we specify the right method for the design: 8-way hand-tied for deeper silhouettes, or sinuous springs for shallower frames. Every choice is intentional and matched to the piece.

Due to the complexity of crafting high-quality, heirloom-grade furniture — where durability, tension, backing, and performance characteristics directly affect the longevity of the piece — we cannot work with covering materials that have not been fully vetted and sourced through us.

The only exception is COM from professional designers who provide complete fabric specifications in advance for our review and approval.

Yes. We offer in-showroom consultations and Zoom calls for remote clients — both are complimentary. In-home consultations are available for a modest fee, which is credited toward your project if you proceed.

We stand behind our craftsmanship. Frames and spring systems are guaranteed against structural failure for 10 years under normal residential use. Cushions, fabrics, and leathers are covered by their respective manufacturers. If an issue ever arises, our team will work with you to resolve it.

Yes. One of the advantages of investing in true bespoke is that a well-built frame can be refreshed as life evolves. We can reupholster, re-fill cushions, or update detailing years later without compromising the piece.

Currently, we deliver to most locations in Northern California.

With simple routines — vacuuming with a soft brush, rotating cushions, and blotting spills promptly — your furniture will maintain its beauty for decades. Our Care Guide page provides detailed instructions for fabrics, leathers, and cleaning codes.

Most of our sample pieces are photographed in white because it highlights the shape, stitching, and craftsmanship without any distractions.

We use Baltic Birch plywood, hardwoods, high-density cushions, and premium textiles, leathers, and finishes chosen for durability and beauty.

For heirloom-level pieces, yes—we offer kiln-dried hardwood frames with 8-way hand-tied springs. We also build with other high-quality foundations, depending on the project
and intended use.
